Art Group - November Birthday Month

Art Group is just so much fun. The challenge for the

evening was to draw eyes and lips.

I brought a photo of one of my grand kids

that Nancy and Mary used.

My sister, Linda's, first attempt at colored pencil.

Terry, sent me this pic from Colorado and it's

so terrific, I wanted to share.

I gave her a few instructions before I

moved away. Boy, did she catch on fast!!

I'm working on another dog for Jason,

our family Chiropractor - just getting started.

November is the birthday month of some dear friends.

What a great week-end for the Atwood's.....so many blessings!

Den is working 5/10's and most of Saturday - but we

took off in the afternoon, explored Fortuna and

went to the movies - way fun!

The Fortuna Theater - we got to go to the movies on

Saturday - it's old and wonderful and has 5 theaters with

stadium seating - can you believe it!!

The scariest bridge ever built!! See there is

NO EXTRA space on the sides!!!

It's the only way out of town....yikes...

and it goes on forever!

We have this great fountain (water feature) that you

can hear from my art/computer room.

We have the nicest little apartment!

Back to Art Group.....what a treat!!

So great to attend Art Group again and visit with the gals.

Jackie, still dealing with chemo treatments, stopped by

just to hear the jokes and share in the fun!

Nancy drew from a photo I brought of "Ceasar", my sister's parrot.

Debi sure loves her little dog, "Cricket"! Den's job is going great - they are digging out the foundation for the future hotel's parking garage.

I caught the sunrise, just after I crossed the Ferndale Bridge.

What a year it's been...and I've gone to the dogs...

It's been over a year since my last blog post.

Dennis has finally started another

hotel up here in the Eureka area,

(I'll post some pics soon.)

This last summer we moved to Colorado

and stayed with my Mother in

Littleton for 4 months - what an adventure.

I got to work with my daughter,

Lecia, and Dennis and I loved being

close to our grand-kids and my sister

and her husband, along with our nieces

and nephews, who also live in the Denver area.

My Mom goes to this wonderful chiropractor,

a family friend, and ended up recommending

me as an artist to draw his dogs - I did that,

and then did this horse for another family friend...

now I've been commissioned to do another dog.

Pretty fun!

We are grateful to be back here, we have so

many dear friends in this area.

I'm attending our little Art Group tonight

and will post our projects.

I will share our story and adventures as I blog
